Eric Howard - North Canton Hoover, Ohio 2007 Highlights

Eric Howard is a highly sought after running back out of North Canton Hoover for the 2010 recruiting class. In this video from ScoutingOhio.com, Eric shows quickness around the edge with a great stiff arm. The ability to carry tacklers and make the first couple of defenders miss. He can run up the gut and shows determination to get to the end zone when within range. He can catch a pass out of the backfield with similar after the catch abilities as he shows when running. He also demonstrates some leaping ability as he gets past defenders trying to ankle tackle him. Howard put up 1800 yards running as a junior in 2008 with 25 touchdowns. Currently he is awaiting a scholarship offer and has interest in Cincinnati, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, and Ohio State.
