On Sunday, Dwayne Cohill -- the promising Parma Holy Name junior guard -- visited Ohio State's campus. While there, he was offered a scholarship by the Buckeyes. Cohill was the top guard in Ohio out of the class of 2018, and he has been on the Buckeye's radar for a long time.
Cohill recently finished an impressive sophomore season, where he gained Division Two special mention honors. As a freshman, he led his team to the Division Two regional finals, and helped to elevate a program (that desperately needed a star) to greater heights during the past couple of years.
Cohill has excellent body control, fine scoring ability and good athleticism. He looks like he was born to play sport and should play both guard roles if he does join Ohio State. During recent years, Cohill and present Ohio State player Dane Goodwin have competed against each other in fascinating head to head battles. These two athletes are leagues above all the other state guards.
