Jim Cordle moves to the tackle position this spring as Michigan transfer Justin Boren takes over at the left guard position and Bryant Browning switches from right tackle to right guard. This could be a temporary position for Cordle as right tackle JB Shugarts is still recovering from shoulder surgery this spring and could take the position during fall camp. And the coaches are looking to rotate the offensive line often in the spring to find the best line-up possible for the fall.

Place kicker Aaron Pettrey has had a long road to a starting position for Ohio State. As a 5th year senior this year he is the main kicker in the rotation and was the main kicker at the OSU kick scrimmage this past week where he kicked the winning field goal. He took on a bigger role last season moving from just kicking off to also attempting longer field goals. This year he should handle the kickoffs for the third year in a row and also handle all field goal attempts for the Buckeyes.

In their annual Scarlet vs. Gray draft today, Ohio State seniors selected underclassmen by position with the coaches split in half and the seniors divided to give the fairest outcome for each team. Quarterback was the first position drawn with Terrelle Pryor going to the Gray and Joe Bauserman being selected by the Scarlet. Leo was next with Scarlet getting Thad Gibson and the Gray picking up Solomon Thomas, who had a great Jersey Scrimmage this past weekend.

With a national record spring attendance of 95,722 fans in the Horseshoe on Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes demonstrated that they have the talent on offense to move the ball and score against one of the better defensive units in the country. With two first half touchdowns, one to Ray Small and one to Taurian Washington, Terrelle Pryor showed off a stronger arm, pocket presence, and touch that gives Ohio State confidence in an offense that struggled at times last year.

At 6’1” 185lbs, Delande has good size and speed for a running back in the Big Ten. During his high school career he helped lead the Wildcats to a Division I state title and walked on at Ohio State the following summer.

Nate Ebner, a freshman walk-on defensive back from Hilliard Davidson, did not get to play in the Spring Game but enjoyed the experience very much from the sidelines. After blowing out a hamstring in spring camp, Ebner was drafted by the Scarlet team but did not play in the annual Scarlet vs Gray game.
