Ohio State Adds A Dozen Preferred Walk-Ons
#1

JackCappabianca

Ohio State is making dreams come true for several in-state seniors by giving them opportunities to be preferred walk-ons as the Buckeyes wrap up recruiting. For almost all of these seniors, the opportunity to play for Ohio State is hard to pass up even if it means giving up full scholarships to other less prestigious programs. A preferred walk-on can use the coaching staff, the training facilities and gear the same as an athlete on scholarship. This season, Ohio State adds a dozen preferred walk-ons, and those are:

Jack Cappabianca -- 6-foot-2, 220-pound reserve linebacker at Berlin Center Western Reserve, first-team all-district.

Abe Myers - 6-foot-2, 220-pound Big Walnut linebacker, honorable mention all-county.

Davion Johnson -- Bedford wide receiver, 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, second-team all-state.

Xavier Johnson -- a 6-foot-1, 215-pound wide receiver from Cincinnati Summit Country Day School, Division V honorable mention.

Sam Wiglusz -- a 6-foot, 175-pound wide receiver from Brecksville-Broadview Heights.

Cade Kacherski - 6-foot-3, 190-pound linebacker from Dublin Jerome, first-team all-district.

Michael Johnson -- 6-foot-3, 205-pound running back, Erie community college.
