Ohio States 2019 Early Signing Period 2019 Recruiting Class

A couple afternoon signings pushed the 2019 Ohio State recruiting class from 13 members to 15 and allowed the team to finish in the top 12 classes nationally. The big get of the afternoon was Zach Harrison, a defensive end from Lewis Center Ohio. He is considered the countries top strong side DE. Later at 4pm Ohio State landed defensive tackle Jaden McKenzie from Wake Forest North Carolina. He is considered the 58th best DT in the country.

Here are the commits from the Early Signing Period 2019:

Zach Harrison, DE Lewis Center Olentangy

Will play in the All-American Bowl. Number four overall recruit in the country. Had offers from Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan. Has the potential to be a first round NFL pick in three years.

Garrett Wilson, WR Austin Lake Travis

All-American Bowl selection. Had over 1000 yards and 18 touchdowns in high school. Plans to enroll early. Had offers from Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Notre Dame and others. Considered the 2nd best receiver nationally.

Harry Miller OC Buford Georgia

Another All-American Bowl player. The 2nd best center in the class nationally. Had offers from Clemson and Georgia among others. Led his team to a 10-3 season averaging 42+ points a game.

Cade Stover LB Lexington Ohio

Ohio’s Mr. Football 2018. Great at linebacker and running back in high school. 592 total tackles in career. The 5th best outside linebacker in the country. Also considered Oklahoma.

Ronnie Hickman DB Wayne DePaul Catholic

Suffered a torn-ACL during the season but was selected for the All-American Bowl non-the-less. Wants to enroll early at Ohio State. Considered a top 10 safety prospect nationally. Had offers from Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, and others.

Jameson Williams WR St Louis Cardinal Ritter

Will play in the Under Armour All-American Game. Caught 68 passes for 24 touchdowns and over 1600 yards as a senior. The 24th best wide receiver in the country. Also had Alabama, Michigan, and Iowa offers.

Steele Chambers RB Roswell Blessed Trinity

Selected for the All-American Bowl, had over 1600 yards rushing and 25 touchdowns for the state champion program. A top 10 athlete country-wide. Also was pursued by Clemson, Georgia, LSU and Notre Dame.

Ryan Jacoby OT Mentor

Looking to enroll early in January. The 26th best offensive tackle in the country. Other schools that offered were Michigan, Kentucky and Indiana.
