A Penn State Loss

For the second time in 14 days, Ohio State has hopped in to remove a top recruit from Penn State. Dissimilar to five-star receiver Julian Fleming, four-star tackle Grant Toutant had given his pledge to the Nittany Lions, just to shockingly flip to the Buckeyes Sunday night. A long-term Penn State commit Toutant stunned the world, posting on Twitter that he was decommitting from the Lions, and going to Columbus.

Grant Toutant

Toutant was verbally dedicated to Penn State since November a year ago.

The 6'7", 320lbs lineman from Michigan has seen his rankings rise and now is a top 25 tackle and one of 300 players ranked highest in the country. Toutant focused on Penn State yet was offered by both MSU and OSU in January. His footwork, following quite some time of playing b-ball, will enable him to exploit a major sized frame.

While Coach Studrawa is the o-line coach, previous Michigan coach Greg Mattison is the one credited for his enlistment, which means those new Michigan staff members are beginning to win players for the Buckeyes.

With a genuine o-tackle body, Toutant can play inside, yet is fit on the edge and that is the place Ohio State intends to put him.
