Little Elm Cornerback Terrance Brooks committed to Ohio State at the end of June after making all five official visits to college campuses. The 4 star prospect is the 8th best cornerback in the country and the 13th best player in the state of Texas. He joins Texas recruits quarterback Quinn Ewers and wide receiver Caleb Brown in the 2022 Ohio State Class.

Terrance Brooks Offers

At 6’1” and 195 lbs. the Little Elm star had offers from 40 schools including Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Texas and Oregon.

Brooks is considered to have a good build for the position with great length. He is a ball hawk on the field, and has shown the ability to make something happen with the ball after an interception. Ran track in high school so he has good speed with the ability to stay with receivers.

He was recruited by defensive backfield coach Kerry Coombs at Ohio State and was given an offer just two weeks before making a decision. Ohio State had been looking at Toriano Pride who selected Clemson for this college destination.

Terrance Brooks Visits

Brooks made official visits in June to Oregon, Florida, Texas, Ohio State and Alabama in that order.

Brooks dad, Chet Brooks, played for the San Francisco 49ers after being a Safety at Texas A&M.

Ohio State’s 2022 class now has 15 recruits and continues to be ranked as the best in the country. Cornerbacks in the class include Jaheim Singletary, Jyaire Brown, and Ryan Turner in addition to Brooks. The class could be on the small side (21 recruits) in comparison to other classes in the top 10.
